Córdoba, Argentina. A self-employed locksmith in his late forties who moved his father into the spare room two winters ago, when living alone stopped being safe. His old man's mobility had been slipping for a while: slower mornings, a cane that became a walker, a few falls that thankfully bruised more than broke. Ignacio has no medical training of any kind, no enfermería, no kinesiología, no caregiving course before he was thrown into it. He took one Hotmart course on home elder care somewhere in the first year and still pulls up two of its lessons on the nights things go sideways. Just a son keeping a notebook by the kettle, mostly written after his viejo is finally asleep, trying to get one Tuesday at a time right.
